Thereto Roschmann collaborates with the design team from systems development and engineering to fabrication, logistics planning, and installation. Own state-of-the-art production facilities for manufacturing insulating glass units as well as for processing steel, aluminum and sheet metal elements form the basis for highest quality standards and on-schedule project realizations. For more than 60 years, Roschmann has been creating technically accomplished façade and roof structures from a single source and in line with project performance requirements.

Therefore we are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager (m/f/d) to support our US projects.

Roschmann’s US headquarters is in New Haven, CT. We also have a satellite office in NYC, NY. Both locations would be an option as a home base. Travel to warehouse partners and jobsites across the US will be required.


Your new challenge

  • Track and manage incoming material shipments from overseas with the project teams
  • Negotiate and book import duties and tariffs on incoming shipments in coordination with our German logistics team
  • Negotiate and manage warehousing and transport partners across the US
  • Coordinate project specific storage and delivery requirements with the local site managers


Your qualifications

  • Sound knowledge of import logistics processes and documentation requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction and/or manufacturing industries
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Works independently to manage responsibilities within the operation
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of organization
  • Excellent communication skills, English business fluent!
  • Understanding of US contract language
  • High commitment and ground readiness, willingness to travel
  • German language skills would be preferred
