Yes. And not just since yesterday. Rather than block your view, however, we will utilize our in-depth knowledge and many years of experience to bring you more transparency and clarity with innovative facades and roofs.
The history of the Roschmann Group can be traced back to the 19th century. The glazier’s workshop of Adolf Roschmann was taken over by Xaver Roschmann, first in Nördlingen and then, in 1952, in Gersthofen near Augsburg. Dieter Roschmann was the third generation to run the one-man business when he took the helm in 1972. The site in Gersthofen was subsequently developed and the production of insulating glass was gradually expanded.
Dieter Roschmann ventured another step at the end of the 1980s by setting up Roschmann Konstruktionen, a firm specializing in facade and roof constructions made of steel and glass. His extensive knowledge of glass as a construction material stood him in good stead here, and it is still a guarantee of success today. As a result, the firm had its own production halls for steel, aluminum and sheet metal working. Well-known clients and architects have since joined the long list of customers of facades made by Roschmann.
Following the successful execution of projects in neighboring countries, the acquisition of the French subsidiary HEFI sas in the 2000s laid the foundations for the internationalization of the company. The Roschmann Group made a name for itself with its entry into the North American market in 2010 and with its Swiss subsidiary, and is now one of the world’s leading facade design and engineering companies.
As well as facade engineering, the production of insulated glass continues to be one of the Roschmann Group’s core areas of expertise. Regional window makers and private customers are supplied as well as in-house project activities. Flexibility and independence are guaranteed in this way.

We need to put our own house in order first, so this time we’re building for ourselves. To enable us to move with the times and respond to the continuous growth in demand, we are investing in the construction of a new, prestigious company headquarters in Gersthofen.
The 12-story office tower will be a widely visible landmark for the town and cleverly combines functionality and attractiveness for a modern working environment. Work is a big part of life, so the idea is to create an environment for office staff and production workers in which they feel at ease.
The foundation stone for the new building was laid in April 2018.
