The atrium roof of the Sparkasse savings bank in Ingolstadt, sitting above the central cashiers’ hall, has a sleek look internally. The main supporting structure has been moved to the outside in the form of externally positioned stainless steel rope supports. Suspended from this rope structure, the insulating glazing is arranged on filigree steel profiles.
